It was a day like any other day, sitting in front of my computer trying to find something on the internet to play in the background while I worked. I came across something that looked interesting so I hit the play button and went back to work. As the documentary rolled on, a voice came over the speakers that certainly wasn't what I would call a strong voice, but man - the words he was speaking gave me chills down my spine. It was the voice of reason, the words of sense, common sense. I immediately stopped what I was doing and went to the screen where the video was playing, I had to see who this person was that had the audacity to speak such sense. The nameplate on his desk read Congressman Ron Paul. Now this was early 2007, wayyyyy before Ron Paul became a household name, and I thought to myself, this guy should run for President. Before long the ideas he was speaking of spread like wild fire across the nation and a movement, no, no a revolution was born. Google Ron Paul, or watch this video to get a better idea of who he is and the ideas he spreads, ideas that he didn't come up with, nor did our forefathers. A more accurate description would be truths. Truths attained by the very fact that governments are corrupt and must be dealt with accordingly, by the people and for the people. Power corrupts and governments can never be trusted to do the right thing. It's a tale as old as time, and the laws of nature are such that they can never be changed. We must face these truths head on and be The People our founders knew we could be.
Take a look.
